The threat of Ebola has been in the news a lot. But on a contagious scale of 1 to 10, Ebola is a 3. The flu is a 10, killing 36,000 Americans every year. Yet it’s one of the most preventable diseases. Dr. Lee Norman, Chief Medical Officer at The University of Kansas Hospital, talks about the reasons everyone should get a flu shot, dispels the myths around flu shots, and talks about the safety of flu shots.
